6sb4's finding of the plant Pitch Pine
We went outside to identify and find most or all of the plants on Massabesic Middle school campus.And what we did was we had sessions on each class that we would go outside and then find a plant and then we would identify it take a sample to get a closer look but when we did so our science teacher Mr.P had set this whole thing up .Our quadrats our area he supplied it all.Anyways when I went outside I chose I pine tree and I soon later found out it was Pitch Pine.And I have came to a conclusion that is IS Pitch Pine

just yesterday I went outside
just yesterday I went outside as a class with my class-mates and we checked our quadrat and our plant to see if it or they have had any changes. Which they did. My quadrat is more dense in plants, there is more of a variety, and more green looking, and as for whole area it seemed more diverse in life. Life that was not there before when we did this last fall. as for my plant it has grown,but not much. It had grown to the point in which it has little pine-cone like tips growing on the edges of their every branch. And the branch were I put the surgical glove on it to check for transporation and, well, it died, probably from suffacation.

my plant is pitch pine and this is my project: anyway i just checked it last week 3/31/11 and it was bent but i think that it was because of the snow fall that had landed on it and it was the same almost and .....OMG it's snowing outside
