So who actually built this incredible, open source website anyway?

GMRI partnered with Image Works, a local tech shop specializing in website design, database development, and interactive kiosks, to oversee our tricky design and development process.....

Lead programmer, Shawn Smiley, has broken new and exciting ground in the open technology arena. His expert work manipulating existing Drupal modules and creating new, clever modules has landed him great and well-deserved praise among the Drupal Developers community. Our site source code will be released to the Drupal world soon.

It's no simple task to make a website easy to use by a wide range of audiences from middle schoolers to professional scientists to passionate citizens. Information architect Misty Mallar expertly designed the site to meet diverse needs and to ensure everyone can participate and contribute with ease.

Our Creative Director Petri Tuohimaa is solely responsible for giving the site a clean and sophisticated look appreciated by teachers and scientists alike.

I have been working on drupal

I have been working on drupal over the last 5 years. From my experience I can say that this is one of the most beautiful drupal sites I have ever seen in my life. The hallmark of this site is its clarity. Information is presented in such a way that everyone – from a computer professional to a layman – can easily make out what is conveyed. Needless to say Shawn Smiley has done a really wonderful job in this regard.
