Fall 2016 Field Season

On this snowy day in February, we thought it would be a great chance to reflect on the amazing Fall 2016 field season that the Vital Signs Community had. This was an exciting fall, with new community members from all across the state and into NH participating and gathering data!

Here is the data from Fall 2016 and past years:

  • Fall 2016 - 775 observations, 758 comments, 36 active experts, 214 active citizen scientists, 86 active educators, 735 student teams
  • Fall 2015 - 1,036 observations, 1416 comments, 39 active experts, 210 active citizen scientists, 42 active educators, 802 student teams
  • Fall 2014 - 712 observations, 1156 comments, 39 active experts, ~ 132 active citizen scientists, 66 active educators, 780 student teams
  • Fall 2013 - 622 observations, 1623 comments, 24 projects, 41 active experts, ~20 active citizen scientists, 71 active educators, 653 student teams
  • Fall 2012 -560 observations, 2003 comments, 5 projects, 43 active experts, ~20 active citizen scientists, 70 active educators, 624 student teams
  • Fall 2011 - 740 observations, 1289 comments, 4 projects, 26 active experts, ~50 active citizen scientists, 52 active educators, 456 student teams
