Episode 3-European Green Crab- Invasive Species Video Blog is ready for viewing!

Hello and how are you from Southport Island!

I hope everyone had a wonderful America week last week! This week the video blog focuses on the European green crab, an aggressive and hungry crustacean that is impacting the coast of Maine. I apologize in advance for the savage nature of this week's video. The innocent citizens featured are actually quite sweet children! Anyway, I hope you learn a lot and perhaps if you are at the beach this week you can find some of these unwelcome critters yourself! Remember, 5 spines is not so fine.

Hope the video doesn't leave you feeling too crabby!

Wild and free,
The Carrot

Nice work!!

I was curious if while you were hunting green crabs you saw any Asian shore crabs. Check out the Field Mission video here: http://vitalsignsme.org/crab-ladys-asian-shore-crab-mission-video
