Findings: Green Crab Population in Maine Coast Investigation Fall of 2017

Abstract
The green crabs are destroying our ecosystem. So we want to see what was going on. For our study we used the catch and release method. We also recorded down data about the green crabs. We placed the traps in three different places. The crabs that we caught in that trap were many colors. The green crabs were very aggressive. There was also a very big population.

Comments

I don't recommend for publishing because of the following reasons.
Score: 11/20.

The methods section isn't specific enough for someone to be able to carry out the experiment based on the information given and it doesn't include a list of materials.

The results section doesn't address the research question—how does the color of the crab effect the marine ecosystem?

The conclusion section doesn't connect to data from the introduction.

After reviewing your submission, we would recommend publication with a few small changes. In the introduction the tone needs to be tweaked to apply to an older audience. I also would recommend you to fix small grammar mistakes in several places, including using past tense. After these changes I would suggest you do a final check over of your piece. Good luck!
