Golden Lines Chapter 5
This is my (second) post for Chapter 5 and it pertains to teachers trying to break the I-R-E cycle. I thought the chapter was well worth the read. It's easy to fall into the I-R-E cycle allowing those with the "right" answer to respond. The following is a list of questions I use in math so I won't feel like Ferris Beuller's teacher trying to get a response. These questions promote inquiry and can be used for science as well as math. They are much like the "talk move" chart on page 91 in Ready,Set, Science.
