Independent study

In my science class, we are doing independent studies at our own homes, instead of at school. We were asked to try and find a invasive species, and research and identify it on our own time. I'm pretty sure that I found Purple Loosestrife next to my road.

Comments

Hey there,

Nice photo. If you think it might be purple loosestrife, take a careful look at the species card (you can find it here http://vitalsignsme.org/species-identification-resources) and check that ALL the characteristics of the plant you found match those of purple loosestrife. If they do, make your case. If they don't, make that case instead.

Happy investigating!
