Memorial rose (Rosa wichuraiana)

My goal was to find and identify any invasive plant in my yard, and I chose memorial rose. This plant was not yet on Vital Signs, so I had to submit as a project.

Good work. Seems like you have some good evidence. Memorial Rose... I haven't heard of that one. You must have spent a lot of time researching. Good work and I hope an expert agrees.

Does it have thorns? What do the thorns look like? How did it get there? I wonder if we have some on campus? If we have something that looks similar, we'll check with you, 7RS1.

I've never heard of it before

I've never heard of it before I researched it either. It doesn't have any thorns, I'm not sure how it got there but I'm guessing it was planted, and I haven't seen any on campus, but if there was some, it would probably be near a fence or an easy area for it to wrap around.
