Field Notes
Our observations consisted of tracking the invasive plant species in the Cathance Preserve. We found a total of three Russian Olive (Elaeagnus angustifolia), four Coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara), over 108 Morrows Honeysuckle (Lonicera morrowii), and 14 Japanese Barberry (Berberis thunbergii). The Russian Olive and Coltsfoot were located in relatively the same spot (N 43º 56.997 WO 69º 57.062), but the Morrows Honeysuckle, Japanese Barberry, and one of the Russian Olive were all found in a different spot (N 43º 57.017 WO 69º 57.111). We predicted that this may be because the birds pasted through this place often and deposit seeds more often here.
Supporting Evidence
Photo of my evidence.
At this location we found a Japanese barberry, which looks similar to the species name matching picture above. In the sampling method photo that is also a Japanese barberry, which shows we sited more than one.

Comments

Should augment the picture with a description of leaves (type, color, etc) and stems (colors, thorns, etc.). Recommend adding something for scale (ruler, pen, etc.)
