Field Notes
As part of GMRI training program, we went out back to look for Oriental Bittersweet. Most of the site was lawn, so we had to look at the perimeter along the fence. We think we found it growing behind the fence. There was no foliage to help in the identification.
Supporting Evidence
Photo of my evidence.
The vines were woody and bumpy, and were wound around a living tree.

Even in March, there was a branch with dried red berries with yellow skins which matched the Oriental Bittersweet fruit.

The vine was climbing up the over six foot fence as well as a tree up to about 6 meters high. The older vines had bumpy, round protrusions on them.
