Field Notes
We are happy because we are working outside. We see green leaves and the school, hear cars and birds and smell sap and the woods. We are surprised by what we didn't find because we thought we had more plants than this in Maine.
Supporting Evidence

Congratulations on getting your data published!

Your pictures are clear and the statements that go with each make clear comparisons with the plant you found and what you were looking for.

The data you have collected is valuable. I hope you continue to look around and make observations.

Nice job but when you take a picture make sure the the camera is focused ;)

great pictures people :) A bit unclear though in evidence three picture, but that's it, you did great and thoroughly explained, nice job and keep it up :)

Thank you!!! We were not quite sure how to write some of the evidence statements. But thank you.

Great job in the descriptions with the pictures.

The photos are great and I hope you can find more evidence just like you did. :)

Thank you! We tried really hard to get good pictures and write clear statements. I guess it worked! We will keep on trying!

Nice clear photos and evidence. The site picture does a really good job of showing the surroundings.

Spaztastics,
Make sure that when you take your photos that you don't have people in them. You had very strong evidence. Good job!

Spaztastics:
Nice proof and great clear picture of the plant that you found. Try to get a little better picture of the site that you guys worked in.

Thanks!! We will try to get a good study site photo next time!!

Nice proof, Spaztastics! I agree that you did not find Oriental bittersweet. This is a spaztastic observation!

Thank you for looking. It's important that you keep looking. Did you know that a citizen scientist "BlueHillGardener" has been looking close by and has documented a lot of Oriental bittersweet? Go to the VS map and check out where she has found Oriental bittersweet and see how close it is to your study spot.

So how many plants do you think we have in Maine? How could you find out?

Thank you so much for the information about BlueHillGardener!! Our group will look at that!!
