A sketch of our study site.
We are happy because we found it. A problem we had was that we stepped in dog poop. We smelt poop and we heard wind. We are surprised by waht we found because they were daed and looked different.

Thanks for all the people who agreed with me!!!!!!!!

Dog poop, huh? Ah well, the hazards of scientific investigation. You do indeed have Comptonia. The leaves are so dinstinctive even when dead. The bush however is just dormant for the winter. It will be back with green leaves come spring. Good job finding it with only a few leaves on it.
