Field Notes

Habitat is a marshy wet area; full of cattails and vegetation; Stream is somewhat narrow and soggy. Some questions and problems were that sometimes the wildlife would disrupt the habitat and make it difficult to photograph. I see: cattails, plants, and swamp. I hear: Wind in the trees and kids yelling I smell: plants, grass, and mud. I am surprised by how little of the purple loosestrife, we found and not surprised of the amount of wildlife in the swamp.

The leaves of this plant are blade-shaped. This exactly matches the description on the paper, which proves that the leaves match the plant.
