Field Notes
A sketch of our study site.
I'm happy because we're in Maine on the water during Fall season and my partner is sitting in duck poop. I see, hear, and smell water lapping, people talking, orange buoy out in the water and a rusty buoy off our dock, diamonds on the water from the sun shining, fleecy clouds (stromulous) and the sound of a mallard duck.

Comments

Your little note about your partner sitting in duck poop made me smile, and your field notes really allowed me to feel like I was there with you. The sampling method was very clear, and your use of the ruler helps a lot with showing the scale of your specimen, and yes it is clearly much smaller than you would expect from Milfoil.

One improvement would be to get a a better site photo so I could truly get a sense for your site, the shot of just water could be anywhere.

photographs excellent; careful analysis. Good job of working through each characteristic!
