Field Notes

I am happy today because we're outside and we're not inside doing non-entertaining activities. We saw approx. 10-15 ft. trees around the pond, parts of the pond had sunlight, there was a man walking down Forest Ave. starring at my classmates, stores on Forest Ave, the pond was near Forest Ave, the leaves on the trees are changing colors, there's water in the pond, grass around the pond approx. 5 ft. tall, and man made rocks about 8 ft. away from the pond. Smelt nothing. Surprised that we found a baby newt in the pond. A question we ran into were we didn't have enough time talking notes.

Parts of this plant is green and yellow with no leaves, the plant we were looking for has leaves and a stem.
