Field Notes
Field Notes Sketch

I am happy because site was in the shade and had a breeze with music playing in the background. We can see and hear cars and people. There is a nice view of the ocean along with a salty smell to the air. Our site surprisingly had a few rodent holes scattered throughout the area.

Polygonum perfoliatum

I agree; you have not found mile-a-minute vine. You made good use of objective traits (leaf shape, stem barbs, leaf color) to determine this. Nice job!
