A sketch of our study site.
I see Bright colors such as leaves and trees. I hear leaves rustling in the background and birds chirping. There was also cars in the background. I was surprised to find Thorns, bright colored leaves, burrs and mud.

The leaves were green and pointy on the end. The berries were red, and the stem was brown and had thorns on them.

Hi Les,
Sorry about that. Our picture that we took of the leaves were blurry. Our actual plant had an arched stem that was thick with curved thorns. Our leaves were Compound Pinnate and Toothed edges. There were 5-9 leaves on the plant. We will try to find a descent picture on the leaves for the website.

Hi Bumblebees,

I questioned your identification because I couldn't see any leaves. Your sketch looks like a leaflet but you really need a leaf with the attached stipule to be sure. There are usually a lot of fruits in clusters in typical Rosa multiflora.
