Field Notes
date of the trip: 5/25 I am happy because the mud is really fun! I see lots of seaweed, rocks, and mud. I hear the squelching of the mud, gurgling from the seaweed, some rushing from waves, and the leaves rustling in the trees onshore. I smell the salt in the air and the stench of the mud and of dead and dying organisms. We did have some problems placing the quadrat, and some people did not wear boots.

In the quadrat there was orange color in the tidal pool, however there was no oozy quality to the the area.
Photo of my evidence.
There are no evident lobes on the orange area.
Photo of my evidence.
None of the areas that are the correct color are very large, the spaces are only a couple inches in diameter at most.
