Field Notes
we were happy because we found the location of a highly invasive species. the leaves sort of smelt like apples. we heard a bunch of people and the waves crashing on the shore. we saw so many of the plants that we took samples of all over the place.
Supporting Evidence
Photo of my evidence.
We think we found a newly growing black swallowwort. The leaves were dark green to reddish colored, shiny, and the leaves are opposite on the stem.
Photo of my evidence.
The leaves were also lanceolate (shaped like a lance head). We did not find any fruit growing.
