The species that we found was not dasyphonia because the species that we found was not branched out like dasyphonia. Also dasyphonia is in one called strands and in the photo the cells are not the same.

Thanks for looking for dasysiphonia! Your coordinates have you at your school, which is not where this algae was collected. Team VS has moved it to the right spot - off Andrew's Island in the Gulf of Maine.
