Vital Signs Advance Training - Worth the Trip!

I recently attended the teacher/educator advanced training to get kids engaged in Science and to become citizen scientists. Being both a 4-H leader as well as a homeschooling mom involved in several co-ops, I found the training to be invaluable. They combined in class lectures with hands on, on location practice of the skills learned. In addition to introducing games to play, projects to do and talking points for discussion, we walked away with the necessary equipment to implement the projects with our students. The program is targeted towards people that work directly with Middle School students. You do not need to be a certified school teacher in order to attend. They are interested in training anyone that is actively involved with a group of Middle School aged children.
