When NOT FOUND is good. Really good.

Monsters. Cavities. Invasive species. These are all really great things to look for, but not necessarily great things to find. This guide shows situations when a NOT FOUND claim (after a careful investigation!) is a great claim to be able to make.

What a great "poster board" type of tutorial. I really liked this and will share it with the students -even though everyone must like to find something the first time!

I appreciate these tutorials with comics because they seem to be the "hot button" issues for everyone -and helps me to get the students invested in the process rather they find their species or not. We spent significant time discussing this very topic... I'll show them your nice summary! Joan (boggyplants)
